BTS (also called Bangtan Boys; Hangeul: 방탄소년단, RR: Bangtan Sonyeondan) is one of the most famous Korean boybands, which you have surely heard a lot about, or even have some CDs and DVDs at home yourself. The seven bandmembers, formed by BIG HIT Entertainment in 2010, has taken the K-pop world by storm since their debut in 2013! BTS, are as well independent producers, dancers, musicians, songwriters. Singles such as "Fire"(691 million clicks) or "Fake Love" (923 million), as of 2021, were streamed millions of times and were at the top of the charts worldwide. But even with such gigantic success, the guys have remained absolutely down-to-earth through their self-discipline, often expressing gratitude that they only made it this far up through the support of their loyal fans. BTS's thematic trademark is: critical positioning towards society. Their influence here extends far beyond their music. They also contributed to the Hallyu (Korean Wave), which led to an emerging economy of South Korea and positively strengthened the country's international image. Also, the guys have the cutest merchandise ever! BT21 which transformed every BTS member into cute cartoon characters were born in September 2017 and have been enchanting the hearts of A.R.M.Y's ever since. The eight cartoon characters named: Tata (V), RJ (Jin), Chimmy (Jimin), Cooky (Jungkook), Mang (J-Hope), Shooky (Suga), Koya (RM) each represent a member of the Bangtan Boys and the 8th avatar (Van) symbolizes the fandom.
